Knitted fabrics wound on rolls are stretched and taut, which may cause the material to coincide and shrink after cutting. The degree of stretching depends on the type and nature of the fabric. It is common when cutting knitted fabrics from a roll.

The UW2 OSHIMA relaxation device

allows us to unroll the roll and ensure the fabric rests without tension and its fibers return to their natural size. We recommend a knit relaxation time of 12 to 24 hours.


The UW2 OSHIMA Stress Relief Device is suitable for all types of material rolls up to a width of 203 cm (80 in). It has a stop sensor and a scroll function. Equipped with wheels that make it easy to move.
